Tuesday, March 5, Mardi Gras Parade:
Each year the Krewe hosts a Mardi Gras parade for everyone on Mississippi Avenue. This free family friendly event invites all to dress up and come dance in the streets! Krewe members decorate signature mini-umbrella ‘throws’ to hand out to lucky participants.

March 7-10, Savor Cannon Beach Wine & Culinary Festival:
​The Savor Cannon Beach Wine & Culinary Festival offers a series of six unique wine tasting experiences, including the opportunity to taste some of the top award-winning wines from recent wine competitions paired with chef-designed appetizers. The Wine Walk on Saturday features over 40 Northwest wineries pouring tastings at Cannon Beach art galleries, restaurants and retail shops, all within easy walking distance in this compact beach community.

The 9th Annual Toast event is an opportunity to taste from a wide variety of over 120 spirits from across the Northwest. March 15-17, Shamrock Run & Fitness Fair:

The two-day Fitness Fair precedes the 41st Shamrock Run to be held on Sunday, March 17, 2019.  The free Shamrock Fitness Fair is Friday and Saturday at the Oregon Convention Center. The Shamrock Run is the largest running event in Oregon and is the kickoff to the running season. Wear green to the Shamrock Run Sunday morning, which has a half marathon, 15K, 8K, 5K, 1K (Kids Lap), and a 4-mile walk.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade is a Hillsboro tradition at Hare Field. (From Hare Field it goes east to Cornell Road, south to Main Street, west to 2nd Avenue, north to Grant Street, and east back to Hare Field). A 4K race precedes the parade at 10:30 a.m.
