July 2 - 6, St. Paul Rodeo
Eighty-four years ago, a group of local farmers and businessmen put their heads together to organize a rough and tumble Fourth of July celebration, and they put the word out that there was fun to be had and money to be won at the City Park in St. Paul Oregon. That first year fifty cowboys competed for a grand total of $500.  From that humble beginning, the St. Paul Rodeo has become one of this nation's top rodeos with prize monies approaching $500,000, and nearly a thousand competitors.

Thursday, July 4th, Sauvie Island Foot Traffic Flat Run
Race in the morning in a farm land paradise and head back to town with a gorgeous medal around your neck and plenty of time for your Fourth of July celebrations that afternoon/evening! Strawberry-themed aid station for each race! All races will have a special “strawberry station” that will feature whole, fresh strawberries, strawberry sweets, and strawberry lemonade flavored Nuun! Now you can have strawberries DURING the race as well as your strawberry shortcake after!

Thursday, July 4th, Corbett Fun Fest
A full day of fun. Parade, live music, contests, food, attractions, games, vendor booths, a generational queens court and other great entertainment for everyone plus the only fireworks show in East county. Vendors will be open and ready to sell at 11:00 am.

Thursday, July 4th, Fourth of July Spectacular
Coca-Cola proudly presents Portland's favorite way to celebrate Independence Day! July 9 - August 27, Tunes on Tuesday
Tunes on Tuesday is a free outdoor summer concert series held for eight weeks in the Cultural District Plaza in Newberg, OR. This concert series is an interactive experience for the people of Newberg and surrounding towns and is run and operated by the Young Professionals of Yamhill Valley.  Each concert, we hear from individuals who have travelled from Central and Coastal Oregon, Portland, and SW Washington.

Saturday, July 13th, The Big Float 9
The Big Float is a celebration of the Willamette River. It’s a parade/float/beach party in downtown Portland that benefits the Human Access Project (HAP), a local, volunteer-driven nonprofit dedicated to helping people connect with their river and perhaps even fall in love with it.

July 19 - 20, Sherwood Robin Hood Festival
Enjoy live entertainment on two stages, medieval re-enactments, Maid Marian's Court, Robin Hood and his Merry Men, a popular community parade, a knighting ceremony, a castle building contest, a teen dance, a kids area, crafts, lots of music, delicious food, a beer and wine garden (including selections from local wineries and breweries) and a wide variety of activities, with over 100 vendors in our Old Town vendor village!

July 19 - 21, Cathedral Park Jazz Festival
The Festival begins Friday night with dynamic Blues, R&B, and Soul. Saturday and Sunday will feature multiple styles of Jazz in all their glory. The stage is situated in a natural amphitheater with a backdrop of the beautiful Willamette River to the west and the mighty St Johns Bridge overhead. The lush, green, and beautifully-maintained festival grounds are the perfect place to bring a picnic or to purchase delicious offerings available from our food vendors.

Founded in 1988, the Oregon Brewers Festival is one of the nation’s longest-running and best loved craft beer festivals, and is considered a craft beer destination. On a sun soaked July afternoon, there’s no better place to sip independent craft beers, cider & wine with friends along the banks of the Willamette River, with the Portland skyline as a backdrop to the west and Mt. July 25 - 28, Portland Vintage Racing Festival
Vintage race cars will challenge the Portland International Raceway road course during SVRA’s annual Portland Vintage Racing Festival. The weekend offers race groups for all SVRA classes. Prototype, formula cars, sports racing and production/GT cars from marques such as Lotus, Alfa Romeo, Jaguar, Porsche and Corvette, principally from the 1950s, through the 1980s, will converge on the track for sage and fun vintage racing.
