Saturday, November 3rd, 84th Annual Verboort Sausage Dinner:
If you love tradition, then you will love our 84th annual Sausage and Sauerkraut Community Dinner. Come join the fun with handmade sausage, sauerkraut and applesauce made solely by hundreds of community volunteers and generations of families that have been in Verboort for over 150 years.  Bulk sausage and a beer garden are also available!

Saturday, November 10, Lough Legacy Veterans Parade:
Honor veterans from all branches of service at The Lough Legacy Veterans Parade! The Lough Legacy Veterans Parade has been a Vancouver tradition for 32 years. Each year approximately 2,500 people from 120 groups march to honor our community’s veterans, including 45 scout troops,  200 vehicles, and 60+ animals. This year, the parade begins at the east end of Officers Row at East Reserve Street. It will head west along Evergreen Blvd, past Officers Row and Providence Academy into downtown Vancouver.

Monday, November 12, Portland Veterans Day Parade:
Portland’s only Veterans Day parade was established in 1974. Vernon E. Ross, proprietor of Ross Hollywood Funeral Chapel, founded the parade to honor all veterans, past and present, living and deceased. The parade would not be possible without our volunteers and generous sponsorships.

Join us for the 17th annual Beaujolais Nouveau Wine Festival hosted by Alliance Française de Portland. Thursday, November 22, Turkey Trot at the Zoo:
The most popular ORRC race, the Columbia Bank / ORRC Turkey Trot at the Oregon Zoo is a multi-generational family event. Runners and walkers of all abilities love the 4-mile, untimed outing between the Oregon Zoo and the International Rose Gardens. Participants finish inside the zoo, much to the delight of two-legged and four-legged mammals alike. The Turkey Trot also features fun kids’ events – the Tot Trot and Diaper Dash.
